Parking at Copenhagen

Parking at the Copenhagen Freeport Cruise Terminal

Parking is available at the Freeport Pier for 90 Euro per week, and 15 Euro per day.

Parking at the Copenhagen Langelinie Cruise Terminal

While there is no parking expressly at this cruise terminal, you do have parking options in the city. Typically, the closer you are to the City Centre, the more expensive the parking. (The City Centre, for the hale and hardy, is considered to be within walking distance of this cruise terminal but NOT Freeport Pier.) Red, Green, and Blue parking zones are in place for Indre Brekvarter inner bridge areas. Red Zones cost 20 DKK (3.60 USD), Green Zones cost 12 DKK (2.15 USD), and Blue Zone parking is at 7 DKK (1.25 USD) per hour, and is available from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM weekdays, and from 8:00 AM to 2:00PM on Saturdays. Signs on major city roads indicate the number of free parking spaces available in the city's multi-tired parking areas. All that said, we suggest your best bet is car rental, taxi, or train before and after your cruise!

Which Terminals Does Each Cruise Line Sail From in Copenhagen?

How Much Does it Cost to Park at Copenhagen?

Only at the Freeport Pier, parking costs 15 Euro per day, and 90 Euro per week.

Are There Discounted Parking Options for Copenhagen?

Major roads do post signs which indicate free parking at multi level facilities in the city. That said, your cheapest parking options will be the farthest from the City Centre.

Money Saving Advice when Buying a Cruise from Copenhagen

  • Best advice we can give: the earlier you book, the better. Prices for early bookers tend to be lower, and, the best cabins out of Copenhagen may sell out early.
  • High season for cruises from Copenhagen is "whenever the kids" are out of school. Christmas, Spring Break, Thanksgiving and Summer are when the prices tend to be highest. Lower prices prevail in September (when kids go back to school), right after Thanksgiving, and in January thru February when the kids return to school.
  • We show all discounts. Rest assured, when you search for cruises on our site, we will ask questions that will qualify you for the best available rate – are you over 55, active or retired military, past passenger, where you live all to help search out any promotional rates for which you may be eligible.
